ABOUT US

Welcome to the
Tucson Meditation Group
website.

The timeless, scientific methods of yoga meditation taught by Paramahansa Yogananda enable one to rediscover, by direct personal experience, the universal consciousness of God that dwells within.
The group has been getting together to meditate and share the wonderful teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda since 1975. We are located at 1702 East Prince Road #140. There are many activities throughout the year. You are invited to join the group. Each week the Tucson Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship meets for inspirational services that focus on meditation and spiritual ideals for everyday living by applying these principles. You can create a life of lasting happiness and harmony in body, mind, and soul.

A Council made up of a Coordinator, Secretary and Treasurer, approved by SRF, govern the Tucson Meditation Group. Elections are held every January.

Tucson Meditation Group is self-supporting and appreciates contributions that help maintain the newsletter, meditation, and book room. Please ask the Council Members any questions you may have before or after the services.

Weekly service schedules are posted on the "Weekly Meditation" page. Click the link above.
You are welcome to come or go during the chanting at the beginning or end of the hour. Please avoid doing so during the services. Please wear appropriate attire when attending Tucson Meditation Group services. This includes wearing shoes, shirts, and no shorts. Thank you.

The nearest Self-Realization Fellowship Temple is located in Phoenix at 6111 North Central Avenue just north of Bethany Home Road leading meditations and services each week and special events throughout the year.  Please visit their website at www.phoenixtemple.org or call 902.279.6140 for more information.

Self-Realization Fellowship is an International nonprofit society founded by Paramahansa Yogananda, a spiritual figure who has introduced truth-seekers to the philosophy of Yoga and its tradition. See their website for more information -
